We include with our weight loss program:
• Medical supervision and patient monitoring – Medical oversight is the cornerstone of safe and effective weight loss treatment and typically includes:
• Initial health assessment: A thorough review of your health history, medical conditions, and weight-related issues (e.g., high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes) to determine eligibility.
• In-person visit: We meet face-to-face to take accurate weight and measurements, demonstrate how to properly self-inject, and ensure you feel confident administering your medication.
• Supplies provided: You’ll receive a sharps container, syringes, and other necessary supplies to support your treatment safely and conveniently.
• Regular check-ins: Consistent check- in’s to monitor your progress and adjust dosage as needed, minimizing side effects.
• Review of blood work: I will review lab tests, if available, to track markers. We do not require bloodwork, but it is encouraged yearly.
• Side effect management: Support in managing common gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, and constipation, especially during dose increases.
• Long-term strategy: Development of sustainable maintenance plans, as most weight loss is regained if treatment stops and maintenance dose is recommended once you reach your goal weight.
